While working on my laptop, I had AOL open in Chrome. When I switched back to the AOL tab from another webpage an announcement popped up stating there was a network error.

When the page refreshed my Inbox was completely empty. A call to customer support was of no help.

They stated they had no idea what happened, the emails were gone and there was nothing they could do. If those emails were deleted on the server surely they have away to recover them, especially since the deletion had to have occurred on their side....my trash folder didn't have any of the missing emails.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Preferred solution: Use accepted recovery software to recover my emails on THEIR servers. Not my mistake.

Aol Cons: Customer service, No solutions offered, Attitude of customer service.

Know someone that this happened to, as well. My issue is emails keep being unavailable & suddenly won't work with browsers, All AOL wants (aside from monthly fee) is to force customers to download their app -- not safe on portable devices, much less appropriate on work computers. Problem is, how can save a service that doesn't care about its subscribers or the substandard experience they are delivering??
