I was forced to use the AOL Gold Desktop program like many other people. I now pay a monthly fee for worse software and terrible support.

I called to have them fix the e-mail spell check that would not correct or replace a misspelled word. Their only solution to my issue was to reinstall the AOL Gold Software. This did not work and then they wanted me to subscribe to their System Mechanic software. I did not need it and said so.

They said good bye and left me with my original problem. All of this after waiting 25 minutes to talk to someone.

This is what you get with these people. Bad software and worse support!!!

Duh...go to settings, click 'General', then click 'mail' in left column, Be sure the box "perform a spell check before sending mail" is checked.

Then look for the tab at bottom of your email that says 'spell check"...and away goes trouble down the drain!!

Good start but when the full dictionary is gone there is nothing to chose from

I have the same problem, there is no dictionary to check against. BS waste of time.
